Location: on Route des Falaises, facing the sea
The hotel is on Boulevard du 19-Mars, Route des Falaises, in eastern Oran, the seaward part of the city where several large hotels stand. It overlooks the Mediterranean and the Bay of Oran.
The city centre, the seafront, Oran railway station and the El Bahia bus station can be reached by car or taxi; the Santa Cruz fort and chapel above the city are a classic outing, especially at sunset. Ahmed Ben Bella (Es Sénia) airport is about 16 km away; the hotel offers a shuttle, to be booked with the hotel.
Rooms and facilities
Rooms have large picture windows, many with sea views, and free Wi-Fi. Reception is open 24 hours; check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 12 pm. Breakfast is not always included: check the room details when you book.
To relax: an outdoor pool, a rooftop pool overlooking the Mediterranean, a hot tub and a gym with sea views. Parking on site is free. Pets are not allowed.
Restaurants and bars
Le Cliff, a restaurant on the edge of the cliff, serves a breakfast buffet facing the coast, then French, Mediterranean and Indian cuisine. Café Cosy, with its terrace facing the sunset, is the place for tea, a pastry or an evening drink.
Business, weddings and summer holidays
The hotel has meeting and event rooms that host seminars, conferences and seaside weddings. In summer it attracts families who want to enjoy the sea and the beaches west of Oran (Aïn El Turck, Les Andalouses) while staying close to the city. Off season, the views and the calm of Route des Falaises appeal to business travellers.
Note: the Four Points by Sheraton Oran and Hotel Oran Bay (the former Sheraton Oran) are two different hotels, both on the seafront in eastern Oran. Check the name carefully when you book.
