Location: by the Roman arches, near the Rhumel
The hotel is on Rue de l'Oued-Rhumel, in the Cité des Arcades Romaines district, a few hundred metres from the remains of the Roman aqueduct that give it its name. It is close to Mentouri University (the nearest tram stop) and the Mohamed-Hamlaoui stadium.
By car you reach the Salah Bey bridge, the Emir Abdelkader mosque and the Sidi M'Cid bridge in a few minutes, then the historic centre with the Ahmed Bey palace and the Cirta museum. The Zénith of Constantine, which hosts concerts and major events, is also nearby. Mohamed Boudiaf airport is about twenty minutes by road.
Rooms and facilities
The hotel has 180 rooms and suites, with free Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service. Reception is open day and night; check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 12 pm.
To relax: an indoor pool open all year, an outdoor pool in season, the Saray Spa (hammam, massages, face and body treatments) and a gym. Parking on site is free, with or without valet. Pets are not allowed.
Restaurants and bars
Qasar serves Arabic and Mediterranean cuisine from breakfast to dinner; Jannah offers a Mediterranean menu; Al Waha, by the outdoor pool, serves grills. For tea or a drink, the Malouf Lobby Bar and the Touareg Lounge complete the choice.
Business, conferences and visiting Constantine
The Marriott welcomes many business travellers, seminars and receptions, thanks to its meeting rooms and its location near the university and main roads. It is also a good base to discover the City of Bridges: the Rhumel gorges, the Mellah Slimane footbridge, the old town and the Ahmed Bey palace can be visited in one or two days.
For families, the indoor pool means the hotel can be enjoyed even in winter, when evenings are cool on the heights of Constantine.
